Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Pensacola.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Join the Pensacola Photography Group on Facebook to share your photos after the session.

Enjoyed it very much. Renee was very professional and friendly. She taught me enough in the first ten minutes to make the day worthwhile. She was very patient as we fumbled with the settings on our cameras. We all came out of it loving our cameras more than we did before the class! Looking forward to seeing her again.

Our first several days in Kruger National Park, we saw so many amazing animals - but the big cats proved to be elusive. We had a few brief sightings of lionesses hunting and leopards in trees, but we did not have the classic up-close encounter with the prides of lions that Kruger is known for. But finally, on our last 2.5 days, we came across several lions (including the famed white lion, Casper), with this particular male, known as Casanova, being the most photogenic. Over those couple of days,

    Title or Location: Opal Beach
It was Mother's Day and I was searching for a composition on Opal Beach. The sun hadn't crested over the horizon yet but I noticed the glow in the reflection of the receding waves. And then there it was, the sun finally broke through giving birth to the day greeting me with a pallet of complimenting colors. I named the piece "Rhea's Morning" after the Greek mythological figure who was the daughter of Gaia and mother to Poseidon.

This beautiful state park and all the Spanish moss hanging from the trees provided such a wonderful backdrop for a low-key image with my dog, Lazarus :) We spent hours taking photos and walking around.

Orange Beach Alabama. We boat regularly and stop often to watch the pelicans diving for fish. I took this photo with a Nikon D500 and a Nikon prime 80-400 lens. These brown pelicans are a favorite of mine to photograph. I call them all George.

As the sun starts to set, the Bush Babies of Crocodile Bridge rest camp awaken. I sat patiently by the pole in the fence, waiting for them to emerge. These nocturnal beauties cautiously pop their heads up, then back down, before jumping off into the setting sky, eager for their night ahead.

As a Bulgarian myself I was visiting my country during the summer of 2024. Astrophotography is my favourite type of photography, so I joined one of the masterclasses organised by one of the world leading astrophotographers - Mihail Minkov. And this picture is the result.
